| i love rice milk over soy milk.
rice milk is much liquidy or skim milk consistency rather than soy milk which is a bit more dense or creamier in my opinion.
however, rice milk is less nutritionally sound than soy milk.
so it just comes to preference and where you get other nutrients.
as i said before, i love rice milk but i definitely drink soy milk actually seaweed/soy/amazake milk: look up EdenBlend by Eden Foods and it is an amazing milk beverage substitute. _________________ the marathon is on oct 26....just right around the corner....... yikes! |

| to me, rice milk is just a bit sweeter. but it depends on the brand i guess.
it is very tasty yumm!
even the rice dream ice cream tastes a lot better than any soy type ice cream in my opinion.
but again, drinking soy milk (depending on who makes it) is much more nutritionally sound for you. more protein. _________________ the marathon is on oct 26....just right around the corner....... yikes! |

| | I have rice milk, and it comes in vanilla flavour as well which is lovely, and theyve brought out a hazelnut version now which I haven't tried yet. Youve probably had that one in the US for ages I guess?? |

| I think rice milk can be found in health food stores. I haven't seen it in regular grocery stores here. It is supposed to be easier to digest and the least likely to cause inflammation and allergies but it is not a real great source of protein.
I haven't tried it myself. Hazelnut sounds delicious! When I lived in the Netherlands I used to get these Ritter bars with chocolate and hazelnuts (totally OT) but yummy good! _________________

| | We have a health store called Holland and Barret, but it may be just in England. Do you have Tesco, Sainsburys or Morrisons? Its a lot cheaper in the grocery superstores. They've just brought out a new one which is found in the chilled counter as opposed to long-life, its made from whole rain rice and called rice n easy! I only bought it today, haven't tried it yet. May be horrible, I'll let you know! Although I've got strange taste in food anyway, so I may not be the best judge!! |

| Aaw! Thanks everyone. Val let us know what you think of it! I guess I'll have to look at a health food store then.. Unless there are any major stores in the US where it's available, as I am visiting soon! _________________ "do not ask for a light load, rather, ask for a strong back" |

| | The wholegrain rice and easy stuff was REALLY thin almost like water, in fact it was so tasteless, it could have been water! The good news is that I don't think anyone could dislike it, unless you don't like water on your muesli !lol ! |
