I had A LOT of blood during the BM in the morning. The first time in 4 months. I`m sure this is from the hemmie who the CRS treated with RBL. Pain is still very little. It`s more of a swollen feeling than pain. The inner anal muscle is very weaken from the botox. A fantastic feeling Smile

I have no trouble holding gas og holding BM`s.

that's great news lars.....

did you have to go under to get the RBL and botox or was it in the dr's office?

i wish there was a botox cream that would just go into the skin and then muscle.....

so i can put some on my forehead :-)

but yeah, it would be great if it came in a cream too........

just be careful that you don't strain while recovering.......sometimes we strain just because we can't feel a thing down there and then later it comes back to haunt you.....

No I did not go under. It was in the dr`s office. 3 shots with a very high doze of botox 3 places in my muscle. At 12, 4 and 8 o`clock. The CRS belived the reason I haden`t had an effect of the other two botox injections is because the doze was to low. The first time i got a doze of 10. The second 15 and this time 37,5. I am very happy that it was the spasm what made me feel so much pain. I was afraid I had a fissure who just not wanted to heal.

I am still in very little pain but I`m a very sore in the anal area. My CRS said my inner anal muscle had become "enlarged". Probobly since it had been in spasm for so long. Has enyone else heard of this? I pray that this soreness also subsides in time Smile

It is this feeling I had when I had a good fissure day before. Maybe it goes away if the inner anal muscle is relax awhile?

I'm sure that is just a normal feeling from the treatment. Your bad days now will seem like your good day used to be, to quote what my co-admin, Kim said to me when I was healing from my fissure.

It is great news Lars : ))) !!! Yes, spasms are the most painful and they make fissure open even more during BM- so now that they are gone you will feel much better : ) !

Just don't forget that "it is not over until it is over" LOL ! You still need to heal that area well - be very careful with diet and all for at least 8 months to a year to make sure it does not come back !

Hi Lars.

Glad to hear you are in less pain. My dr didn't comment on the size of my muscle, just the strength. it seems that when something clenches constantly for a year or so, a good deal of muscle fiber can build up.

I have had pain constantly through the day an I feel the muscles clenches down there. I have to push again when I have an BM and farts... Damn I am tired of this...

I understand the misery of the day-long spasms, Lars. Yes, you can't live like this all your life. Tell that CRS that the spasms last all day, I am sure he/she will approve the LIS. Hope tomorrow is better.
