| well i am ready to do my fourth marathon....before i turn 40! the first one i did was when i was 29 and then i did two more while i had to endure my horrible fissure ordeal.
this year i wanted to get motivated and do something good along with it aside for myself so i joined to run and help raise money for st. jude children's research hospital. i just need to raise $1000, which is very small.
in case if any of you would like to help further cancer research to help children save their lives and live longer and healthier, please think about donating $1 or $5 or whatever you can. you can go to the st. jude's web link that is hosting my profile for me and they will send you an email for tax purposes (charitable contributions) for your records.
along with running for these amazing little kids, i also run for the amazing opportunity God has given me in being on this earth for a long time living with my own little battle......so as I say, this time, I am running for a million reasons....and that includes for all of you too......

the marathon is oct. 26, on a sunday and here in the good ol' dc!
this will be my third marine corps marathon but my fourth marathon over all.
i needed some inspiration to do this fourth one and since i give monthly to st jude, they sent me an email one day with the fundraising challenging while doing the mcm. so i thought about it and it was a perfect fit.
except then i got my lymphoma/KS scare and then i just ate out of control since i had to juggle that, my pug's issues, and then work on top of it, i have gained like 25 pounds since coming back from denver.

today i went for my 4.5 mile run and it was wonderful because the weather was great. i won't be too happy when i have to do those 18-20 milers in humidity and scortching sun!!!!!
but i know it can be done and i have done it!

thank you all for your good wishes and donations. they will all be for a great cause - children are always a wonderful cause and since i can't have any - this is my way of trying to help them.

there is time for any of you to also join and run for st. jude!!!! if you have ever thought about running, jogging or walking your marathon, this is a great opportunity!!!!!!!
now i need to work off these 25 lbs!!!!!!!
