Diltiazem 2% frequency
July 3rd 2008, 6:54 pm by Gone_Fissuring
For those of you who have used Diltiazem, is it okay to massage multiple doses of Diltiazem during day? I do it morning and night but have been given no formal instruction. I think I could go for a top-up midday.

Also, does anyone find the tight-arse effect slightly inhibiting to the stool passing process? Does anyone use GTN or diltiazem to allow the easier passage of a stool.

Cleaning
July 3rd 2008, 8:57 pm by j1sc2000
I discovered a new issue that I'm having...I use unscented (seems more like lightly scented, but that's just my opinion) wipes to clean after a bm. I've been using these for months with no problems. It seems that lately, though, I've been having issues with the cleaning process. It seems to get irritated before I'm completely clean. It feels itchy, but as I keep dabbing, I seriously irritate t...

I give up
June 10th 2008, 8:02 pm by Lecia
Well, after enduring months and mnonths of pain from surgeries thinking it would solve the problem I now how another thrombosed hemorrohid or infection at the incision site. I can't tell. It looks like a white, silver and blue but it a hard nodule. I thought having the hemorrhoidectomry was supposed to keep that from happening again. I did go for a walk yesterday and carried some groceries, bu...

"Scratchy" foods
June 28th 2008, 8:01 pm by j1sc2000
ok...i've been really curious about this for a while, but just felt it was a dumb question. i can't put it off any longer, though. i'm confused about the concept of scratchy foods. I understand that some things will cause irritation on the way out, hard stuff like nuts or whatever. but how would chips cause irritation? i keep seeing the reference to the sharp edges...i thought that when eatin...

nitro question
June 27th 2008, 3:01 pm by val
the instructions with the nitro says it has to be applied internally. Is this imperative or can it be just rubbed on like the diltiazem? I found when I just rubbed it on I got a crashing headache- is that why?

thanks!

Sphincter spasms
June 29th 2008, 9:29 pm by cherylk
Guys and gals,

I think there was a thread previously about what a sphincter spasm feels like. But I am wondering if a person feels a spasm, does that mean that the fissure is not healed? I think I had one this morning while getting stressed during a visit with my son. I laid down and did deep breathing and it stopped. I don't know if spasms contribute to causing fissures, or do ...

Back on track
June 28th 2008, 4:45 pm by small_flower
Hi Guys,

Well I am getting back on track and have been eating and drinking well for the past two days. I plan on continuing. I do, however, have to get it across to my boyfriend that the food I buy especially for myself is NOT for his eating! He doesn't seem to get that, and its a bit annoying.

Anyways...

I have also started to take 100 mg of magne...

and the cycle repeats
June 26th 2008, 4:49 pm by small_flower
I just can't seem to stay on my fiber diet. I could go on it for a week or two, but then something happens...I stay somewhere else for the weekend...I go out to eat for a birthday celebration...normal life occurances...and it throws me off.

If I get right back on it and only let it go a day or two at most, then usually the recovery isn't so bad, but this morning my bm was reall...
