PIZZA

Post by Guest on December 1st 2006, 8:21 pm

I love my pizza too!!! It is one of my favorite foods. I eat the lean cuisine roasted red pepper and vegetable pizza. It is great and even turns out crispy in the microwave. Obviously it is a diet food so it has just a little cheese for flavor. And better yet it has 3 grams of fiber. I don't over indulge with it but when i crave pizza it does the trick with no consequences Smile .

See ya

My family is big on making pizza from scratch, usually once a week. My mom replaced the white flour with whole wheat flour, and I barely noticed the difference!!! You guys should try it.

Also, if your not concerned about calories or salt (we all cheat now and then) you should try one of the celeste frozen pizza's, the supreme has 5 grams of fiber in it! Its got lots of yummy toppings too!

There is life that includes pizza when your stuck in our position cheers

cheers,

i allow myself a day to cheat on macrobiotics.

i did try ordering pizza with the least amount of cheese possible on it, very little tomato sauce, and pile up the veggies and some chicken. i even put in some ham and italian sausage.

as kate suggests, best to have a whole wheat pizza crust to start!

now the tricky part is learning to only be satisfied with like 3 slices.........

and have a wonderful greek salad or your favorite salad (sans the dressings ) pre-pizza and you should really be fine.
