Latest topics Search | why is it? May 6th 2009, 5:17 am by gahgah604 I go off nifedipine for a week and my fissure starts hurting! I have no spasms or blood but it feels raw down there if I go off my ointment! I have had this fissure for 4 years almost! My last visit to the specialist was 2 weeks ago and he said it was healed! Why would it still feel raw if the fissure was healed? I am confused, I wish he could take a picture of the fissure and show me so I could see the evidence of the healed fissure! I just don't believe it because every time I try to go off my ointment, a week later I feel raw down there and it stings! I am happy though that I have no blood or spasms... but it does hurt sometimes and feel raw! If I have too stay on the nifedipine for ever I will! as long as the ointment keeps the pain away... amen!
